The first step in shipping your guitar to gather the packing material. You will need a box that fits your guitar along with packing tape and packing material (bubble wrap and newspaper).
The next step is to prepare the guitar for shipping. You will need to loosen the strings to prevent unwanted tension on the strings during the shipment. Secure any parts of the guitar that may move during transit. Wrap loose items such as tremolo bridges in newspaper or other packing material that you may have.
Wrap the headstock. This is a very sensitive part and needs to wrapped tightly. We would recommend using bubble wrap for this particular part of the guitar.
Using newspaper separate the string from the fretboard. This prevents the strings from hitting the fretboard during the shipment.
